Most of our items are old or antique and have been used - so we do not mention the normal wear and tear, common to older items. But of course we will mention any repair or damage!

Antique historistic wall barometer
Antique wooden cased barometer with a thermometer with historistic styling.
Thermometer in Reaumur and centigrades, barometer with weather indications in German:
Stormy – rain or wind – change – fair – set fair
The markings on the face of the barometer read:
Anton Kleeman K u. K Hof-Optiker Wien (Vienna)
Name of optician – K and(u.) K means Royal and Emperial
Anton Kleeman was a
purveyor to the court. (Austria was a monarchy till 1919)
Craftsmen and manufacturers offering outstanding products or services of high quality were granted the title “purveyor to the court” – this title helped tremendously to push the business and sales! Some of these families are still in business and use the title on the signs of their shops.

expedited shipping – estimated delivery:
7-10 days
A third way of shipping, if customers want their items ASAP, is
by EMS (1-3 days).
Shipping fees are higher and I will quote them upon request.
