International 12 Meter Yacht Racing Series Newport Rhode Island
T-Shirt dates to 1994, was seldom if ever worn, has been in storage for more than 20 years, and is in excellent preowned condition. The front features “International 12 Meter Racing Series Newport Rhode Island” in black and blue and the backside has a large black, blue, green, and white graphic of North America within a globe encircled by stylized sailboats. Below it is the wording “International 12 Meter Racing Series Newport Rhode Island U S A July/August 1994”. The colors and graphics are very strong and there are no noticeable rips, tears, pulls, smudges, marks, stains, fading or other signs of usage and wear except for a some very faint and barely noticeable yellowing of the collar…and there are some wrinkles and creases resulting from years of storage. In the absence of this slight issue the shirt would be in pristine condition.
This shirt is
heather gray in color, was made by Fruit of the Loom in the U S A, and is 98% preshrunk cotton and 2% other fibers. It is labeled XL, but it is best to rely on the measurements. They are about 22 inches from underarm to underarm (that is, 44 inches in circumference), 28 inches from the top of the front collar to the bottom of the garment, and 31.5 inches from the top of the collar to the bottom of the back side. It measures about 7 inches from the collar seam to the shoulder seam, and 8.5 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the short sleeve.
