Vintage Souvenir Program
Up for auction is a vintage souvenir program book, measuring approximately 8.5 by 11 inches in size. The twenty page Souvenir Program is for John Golden's "Lightnin", playing on a national tour, in 1922. The play was written by Winchell Smith and Frank Bacon, and starred Mr. Bacon in the lead role until his death in 1922. The show is significant in that it was the longest running Broadway show of its time, running on Broadway from 1918 until 1921, at which time it embarked upon a long national tour.
The souvenir program is in good, vintage condition, with no missing or torn pages, no writing on any of the pages, and minimal soiling and wear (primarily to the covers). However, there is significant chipping to the paper along the entire spine, and the two staples are missing, so that all of the pages, while present, are loose.
At this time and over the next few months, I will be selling a number of vintage souvenir program books, as well as other movie and theatre memorabilia, and will combine shipping if at all possible. If this is something that you are interested in, please check out these other listings as well.

Thank you for looking. If you have any questions or would like additional information or pictures, please e-mail me as I would be happy to provide additional details. Please note that all items being sold come from a smoke-free and pet-free home. I am not a professional dealer, and am simply downsizing after years of collecting. I try very hard to accurately list and describe the condition of each item that I sell, and can appreciate the frustration of receiving an item that is not as described. Being human, I will occasionally make a mistake, and may miss a flaw or imperfection that would leave one dissatisfied with their purchase. If this occurs, and you feel that the item you receive is not as described, please contact me immediately. My goal is that each individual who buys from me is happy with their purchase.
