The finish is very nice satin black. My flash is making some of the pictures look like the finish is gloss sparkles.  It is not.  It looks most like the last photo.
This is a really nice red laser emitter that I am using (and liking very much) regardless of price.
It is all metal and the fit and finish are extraordinary. You will NOT be disappointed with this laser.
Everyone that gets to see and hold one of these in my shop is impressed (with the look and metal construction, yes... but especially the TOTALLY COOL fact that it fits dovetail OR Picattinny/Weaver RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX).  If only ALL of our accessories (scopes, flashlights, red dots, etc.) had this feature!
It easily adjusts for elevation and windage with the included hex wrench.  I had mine set at 20 meters in just a very few minutes and it is holding true weeks later.
It has a positive on / off switch on the back.  It does not have a remote pressure switch but I actually prefer the easy to use on/off with no wires dangling in my way.
Batteries ARE included. It takes the common watch type batteries (easy to find and cheap to buy).
Especially helpful is that it comes with a mount that will fit Weaver / Piccatinny OR the dovetail grooves of our Crosman guns (either steel breech or with the 459MT).
I have taken mine completely apart. This thing really impresses me in how well it is made.
I also have a more expensive Centerpoint that I have had for years.  I like this one better just because of the all metal and well-built aspects in comparison.  And no adapter required to mount it. And at a better price, too.
This laser at this price is a good value.  I intend to keep this around for awhile.
Oh... and the cat likes it, too!
