Description
Early North/New Rochelle WWI Honor Roll of 55 Veterans and how they died. This Honor Roll was a Poster of Howard Chandler Christy 1919 Original Print which was hanging in some hall in North Rochelle or North Ave. which later became New Rochelle?? Back in the 1918 after the war this was not put in bronze, you can check it today and see if the same names are on there. This honor-roll gives the name, rank, branch and how they died. K.A. = Killed in action; D.D. = died disease; L.S., D.P.=??. It has one Marine and one Navy listed. The print was folded and put on a board with a frame around it - it has fold marks on it but they did a beautiful job on it. This work was done in 1971 and the cost was 5.00 to put it on a frame. I have seen this print before and after it was framed. The frame is 28" x 42" - This is the only copy in existence and is very rare. To ship this package to New Rochelle only it would cost .00 any other mid-state would be more.
